Mykonos.

Out and About (4).

From the period when the Venetians occupied the island there remains an area with a row of Venetian, wooden-galleried houses. This is "Little Venice" with its wooden balconies, brightly painted, which hang out over the sea. It is here that you can find many cafes and restaurants where you can eat 'al fresco' with the sea lapping at your feet. The food is excellent but not cheap...you pay for the setting.

The marina end of the harbour.

Fishing boats and pleasure boats abound alongside the main harbour front.

Free-standing Mykonian dovecote as seen all over the Island. Many are built into or on to the roof of houses.

The small Aghia Anna beach in the harbour area of the town.
